Re.Group is Australasia's leading independent recycling business and container deposit scheme operator, created through the transformational merger of Re.Group and Polytrade facilitated by Mercury in 2022. The group operates more than 20 recycling and resource recovery facilities across Australia and New Zealand, providing kerbside recycling and organics services to councils, processing 600,000 tonnes of material a year. It also operates a network of container deposit points across Australia, handling more than 1 billion containers a year.

Mercury acquired a ~38% shareholding in Re.Group in June 2022.
